Robertson Endowment to Benefit the Brain & Spine Center at
Brackenridge Hospital AUSTIN - O'Connell Robertson & Associates is pleased to join the Seton Health Network to announce the Noel G. Robertson Endowment for Neuroscience at the Brain and Spine Center. The endowment, in the amount of $25,000, recognizes Noel G. Robertson, president of O'Connell Robertson & Associates, for his commitment to supporting state-of-the-art healthcare facilities and years of service to the Austin community. Representatives with the Brain & Spine Center at Brackenridge Hospital and O'Connell Robertson & Associates gathered for a dedication ceremony on Monday, June 21 at 12:30 p.m. at Brackenridge Hospital.
As a member of the local engineering community, Mr. Robertson has been active in several professional associations, including the Texas Association of Healthcare Facility Managers and the local chapter of the American Society for Heating Refrigerating & Air Conditioning Engineers of which he is also a Past President. Throughout his
career, Mr. Robertson has been involved in the design of numerous
hospitals throughout Texas. One of his earliest projects was the
1975 expansion of the original Brackenridge Hospital. More recent
healthcare projects include Smithville Regional Hospital, Georgetown
Healthcare System, and Metroplex Health System in Killeen. In addition
to his healthcare facility design, Mr. Robertson has participated
on many notable local projects, including the Georgetown ISD Performing
Arts Center, Barton Creek Elementary School, renovation of the Sam
Houston Building, numerous projects for UT Austin, Austin Independent
School District; and the recent State of Texas 9/11 Memorial at
the Texas State Cemetery.

On
July 31, 2004, Noel G. Robertson will retire as President of O'Connell
Robertson & Associates, Inc. after 25 years of service with
the Firm. He provided leadership to the engineering and construction
administration departments, as well as overall direction for the
Firm.
